An 18th Century Candelabrum
A late 18th century, Louis XVI period carved and gilt Candelabrum, later (in the 1930’s) fitted with an electrified timber candle (now removed). Decorated with Neoclassical geometrical patterns, vine and grapes and foliate motifs. This Candelabrum could be reverted to using a large candle, or it be re-wired and fitted with a lampshade. Area of Paris, circa 1780.
Condition report: In fairly good and original condition. There are some losses of gilt finish, that can be repaired in our workshop.
