A Classic French Entrance Door
Reference No: Cons E.K.
A 19th century French solid oak classic design entrance door, two windows opening behind the pair of cast iron grilles decorated with stylised scroll-work. The lower section of the door with two solid ‘diamond’ panels. Retaining the original cast brass door knob and the original door frame with its fanlight window. Area of Isle de France (Greater Paris), circa 1880.
This door has now been sympathetically and fully restored, with frosted security glass opening behind the grilles. We can re-paint it or leave the timber in its stunning ‘raw’ state, adding lustre with a final wax and buff. Everything is fully functional and it has had its lock refurbished.
Condition report: In excellent, unrestored condition.
Dimensions: 98 x 220 cm. Door frame 109 x 279 cm.
