An Exceptional French Entrance Door

A mid 19th century French Napoleon III period cast iron and solid oak entrance door of Classic design, the top section with a large grille, wonderfully decorated with a trophy of musical instruments, (an allegory for harmony), and with elegant, stylised foliate scrolls, the lower section with ‘diamond’ panelling. The rear of the door with a steel-framed window. Area of Paris, circa 1860.
Condition report: In excellent, unrestored condition.
