A French Statuette of a Singer

A fine, 19th century French 18th century style, bronze-patinated spelter bust of a girl singing, a copy of a bronze original. The plinth with the title of the piece “Chanteuse” (singer) and signed “Bruchon” (Emile Bruchon, Paris 1806-1895), a renown 19th century sculptor who exhibited regularly at the Paris Salon. Area of Paris, circa 1870.
This item is currently for sale in a shop near Paris, and will not be shipped to Melbourne – unless someone wants it, and is willing to put down a deposit on its purchase.
