A Long French Hall Table
A 19th century French Provincial long and narrow solid fruitwood and poplarwood serving table of simple design. The front rail fitted with three drawers, each with a ‘shell’ metal handle, and standing on elegantly tapering legs. The top is well-worn and with a multitude of kitchen-work stains and cut marks. Area of Normandy, circa 1880.
Condition report: In excellent, fully restored condition.
